Dennis de Groot

Dennis de Groot (Waalwijk, 1982) is an illustrator. His distinctive style reduces subjects
to simple forms and colors. Strongly influenced by contemporary pop culture, he aims to
explore the line between recognition and detail in his work. In 2011 he published his first
book, 'Bare Essentials', a collection of illustrations of pop culture icons. Dennis resides in
Amsterdam with his wife Sherisa and their cat Pixel.
